ABOUT ME
Before I was a Bookkeeper
I originally went to college to become a computer programmer. I enjoyed working with computers and especially crunching numbers. But after 5 years of programming, I took my life in a completely different direction. I became a Youth Minister, working with teenagers at a church. This was a true passion of mine, as I tried to help teens make good choices with their lives and strive to be the best they could. I was a Youth Minister for more than 20 years.

After I retired from Youth Ministry, my wife and I moved to Colorado to become House Parents at a Children's Home. We took care of teenaged boys who needed a steady home environment while they received counseling and got caught up in school. More recently, we moved back to Washington state to be near our young grandkids. That is the biggest blessing of all, spending time with family as we live only 5 minutes away from them!
When I'm not bookkeeping, I enjoy photography, playing racquetball and watching movies with my wife. I'm also a big college football fan.
